I love the map I ordered; it was a world map done in LOTR style. All the details and images of the map were interesting and delightful. I personalized my map and working with the team at Unique Maps was an enjoyable experience. They asked questions and sent proofs back and forth until the personalization was exactly what I wanted. Communication was great overall and I highly recommend this shop.
beautiful quality print, exactly as described on the website. they've also done a brilliant job of painting our dog in on the right hand side, in a subtle way that makes her look part of the scene. Couldn't be happier with what we ordered and will definitely buy from here in future
beautiful quality print, exactly as described on the website. they've also done a brilliant job of painting our dog in on the right hand side in a subtle and non-intrusive way so she looks part of the scene. We framed our own so can't speak to that element but we couldn't be happier with what we ordered and will definitely buy from here in the future

Thanks, Peter! What a wonderful artwork - and good dog :) Let me know if we can help with any more art in the future - as gifts perhaps!
I’m so pleased with this purchase! It’s high quality, and was frame - ready. I highly recommend it!!
Everything about Unique Maps is fantastic. The selection, the quality, the support and the product. I couldn’t be happier with the map I bought and I’m already now a repeat customer. An all round great shopping experience.
We absolutely love our custom LOTR map! We hung it up right in our bedroom, and bought these really nice metal-tone pins that match well. The customization is so cool, my fiancé was impressed with this birthday gift - I don't know how I'm going to match such a cool gift next year!
Store owner replied:
Wow! Thanks Stephanie - the map looks fantastic. I hope you enjoy it for years to come. And of course... to answer your question... the only way to top this map is with ANOTHER even better map! Regards, Sebastian.
Absolutely top notch! Excellent service from start to finish. Communication and updates were great. The print was exactly how I envisioned it. Loved being able to view the product before final completion and distribution.
I ordered a map of Lancaster as a Christmas present for my husband. He absolutely loves it and has learnt so much about the area we have recently moved to. Fantastic customised map with great communication from the company.
Unique Maps were super helpful and kind to deal with as I was trying to finalise a map design for a 30th birthday!
I can heartily recommend them! Thank you!
Bought this map for the pastel colors that would work nicely with the existing art in our nursery. It is beautiful, and such great quality. I chose to get it framed on my own so I could see the finishes in person. The unique size makes it a custom frame job, so a bit more pricey, but we’ll have it for years to come.
Store owner replied:
Wow! Thanks, Daniel - I'm glad you love your map, and thanks for sharing those wonderful pictures. The map looks amazing :)
Let me know when we can help you with another one...!
I like to save tickets and memorabilia from the countries I visit and display them. I find the best way is to surround a black and white map of the country so that they show up well. Unfortunately I searched high and low for a specific map of two neighbouring countries but couldn’t find what I was after until, I found The Unique Maps Co. and was offered a custom made map. I am thrilled with the results, how quickly it was designed and value for money. I will definitely be requesting more after my next travels.
Store owner replied:
Hey Joss! Thanks a lot. It's very cool to see the finished map, including the tickets :)
Let me know if we can help with any more maps in the future... when you visit more countries...!
I’m inlaying the map on a table going into the dinette on a boat, so i cut down the map and distressed it, to look like an old treasure map. Well overlay epoxy on top to encapsulate it, and get a smooth flat surface. Not the usual display of a new map on a wall, but it will turn out pretty neat in the end.
Store owner replied:
Very cool, Andrew! I look forward to seeing a photo of the finished piece :)
This map of Rome (the map at the top of the photo) is really gorgeous in person; tons of Old World detail. When framed it has a very rich appearance to it.
Store owner replied:
Wow! It's beautiful, Lisa. Hopefully I can visit and see it someday :) Let me know if we can help with any more maps or art in the future.
Amazing service allowing me to try different phrases and layouts. I couldn't love this more
Store owner replied:
Thanks, Kim! It looks amazing :) I hope the map brings your son joy for years to come.
Bonne qualité du produit, j’adore. Par contre compagnie de livraison peu soigneuse. J’avais un énorme trou dans le carton jusqu’à la toile. On a frolé la catastrophe.
Store owner replied:
Thank you, Gregory! I am thankful that the canvas was not damaged by the delivery driver. But if it was damaged, we would've replaced the map free of charge of course :)
Had a week to organise a gift for our son in law’s 30th birthday. Husband suggested a map of the area he spent his childhood holidays - excellent, but how easy would that be…….
Sebastian at Unique maps made the whole experience truly easy!
E mail and WhatsApp communication, individual, specific and personalised order details specified, map paid for, ordered, and couriered to him on the day of his birthday at the place where he spent his childhood holidays.
I live in New Zealand.
The map was to go to France.
Sebastian based in London (I think).
Worked perfectly and our son in law was thrilled to say the least.
So, if you need that something special for someone special, use Unique Maps. They deliver that special gift and go that extra mile to do so and on time.
Thank you so much!
Love this monochrome map! Sebastian was very responsive and after placing the order, he sent a confirming mail with details immediately. I was expecting some delays as the delivery country was in Asia, but it was quickly printed and sent from Australia without any issue. I have lived in London for a few years and I was pleased to discover this little workshop to keep my memories of London!
Store owner replied:
Hey Ishan! Thanks for the review :) The map looks great. We make maps all around the world - that's why we can deliver anywhere... usually within a few days. Let me know if we can help with anything else in the future.
Regards,
Sebastian
I had an excellent experience with my personalised map - Sebastian was very helpful and there were many options to choose from. I’d certainly recommend!

Beautiful map! Thanks for sharing :)
I found Sebastian to be very helpful and when our map was delivered damaged by the courier he was quick to deal with the issue and arrange a replacement to be delivered straight away.
We are very pleased with the map that was a present for my husband and is now hanging in his study!
I love my map, it elevates my space beautifully, and it's such an interesting piece. The entire correspondence with Unique Maps was professional, pleasant and quick. I received my order in a timey fashion, and without any hiccups. I'm very happy with this experience.

Easy to find specialist, very good communication. Worked with me to get exactly the right present. The quality and the ability to personalise the map means I will recommend this company to all my friends and family. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thanks for a trouble free experience.
Sebastian really helped my wife and I to work out the right amount of aging. He was very friendly and responsive and the map (of the 1860s Dalston area) was excellent. Thanks. Dave
